During a visit to the air defense headquarters in northwestern Iran, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base highlighted the heroic sacrifices of the Army’s air defense personnel during the 12-day imposed war, alongside the IRGC Aerospace Force.
Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard stated that during the war the Zionist regime bowed to the will of Iran’s brave youth and resorted to a ceasefire.
Sabahi Fard emphasized that the country’s air defense headquarters, as the frontline defender of Iran, remains at the highest level of combat readiness and defense capability in any situation.
Brigadier General Sabahi Fard emphasized that the wise leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution enabled Iran to deliver significant blows to the Zionist enemy in a short time.
Referring to the eight-year Iran-Iraq war experience, Sabahi Fard noted that during the 12-day war, Iranian youth stood more determined against the Zionist regime and the criminal US than ever before.
He recalled that the Iranian people, once again united and cohesive, supported the armed forces during the 12-day imposed war, showing they would never allow enemies to covet the borders and sovereignty of the Islamic homeland.
